Commit to be Fit: Part 2

So when I first started blogging I made a pact that I was also going to start exercising more and eating healthier. This has been a rather hard journey for me but I have managed to lose a stone in weight and made some good friends whilst doing so!

Instead of zumba, I swapped that with spin classes which made me work a lot harder than what I was used to which is great for cardio. I also tried pilates which I preferred to yoga because it incorporated your abs a lot more. I still workout 3 or 4 times a week which is probably why I have seen some progress.

My eating habbit changed a little bit but I still have days where I will eat a packet of chips for tea or some pizza. But I will blame the stress of exams for that!

Anyway, that’s my progress so far. Comment below with what healthy meals you like to eat 🙂 I will speak to you soon!

  1. Best of luck! I’m always saying I should get fit but I can never commit, I’ve been trying to cut down on my meal portions lately, which seems to be working a little. My main problem is that I work from home so I don’t really get any exercise at all. I could go to the gym or something, but I tend to get anxious about it.

If your ever looking for more recipes, Barry Lewis has a great one for Sweet Potato Burgers. They’re really nice and a good healthy substitute.

      • I could try but I don’t live too close to friends so I wouldn’t be able to use my local (which would also be cheaper). It’s then spending money on travel and trying to go enough to make it, spending an hour travelling each time. It’s quite fussy, but I might still look into it when I get a bit more money in.

I might look into more fitness apps or gadgets, so I can cover them as well as use them.

Thanks for the tip anyway =)

  2. Ah enjoy your fitness journey! I love zumba but couldn’t handle spin. I’m also on a weight loss journey and doing slimming world. I definitely need to incorporate more exercise into my life!
